GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS HISTORIC RESERVE
Across the road from the Beehive, the Southern Hemisphere’s largest wooden building, the Old Government Buildings, now houses Victoria University of Wellington’s Law School.  Most of the building is closed to the public, but entry is permitted to displays on the ground floor and in the first-floor Cabinet Room, and to the Historic Reserve Gardens, which contain rare examples of New Zealand flora.
