Voted among the top ten airports in the world, Auckland Airport is located 21km south of downtown Auckland.  Auckland Airport’s two terminals, International and Domestic, are connected by a free transfer shuttle service which departs every 15 minutes between 5am and 10.30pm daily.  The sign-posted blue and white walkway which runs between the terminals is a 10 minute walk.  Taxis, shuttles and buses operate from both terminals.

5 licensed taxi companies operate from dedicated ranks outside Exit 8 of the International Terminal and Exit 4 of the Domestic Terminal, offering door-to-door service.  (approx $60 to town)

Shuttles:
Licensed operators Super Shuttle offer a door-to-door shared mini-van service seating up to 11 people from their dedicated ranks outside Exit 8 of the International Terminal and Exit 4 of the Domestic Terminal.  Citicabs also offer a shuttle service from their dedicated taxi rank.  Drivers will advise the exact price to your destination before the trip begins, and collect payment once you’re there.  For the return journey to the airport, book online or by phone.
