Harsh pre-dawn alarm clocks, confirmation phone calls and pre-flight weigh-ins are quickly forgotten as day breaks gently over the landscape below.  Floating in a wicker basket beneath a brightly coloured balloon, wafted by serendipitous breezes, smiles are never far away from the faces of your early morning companions.  Surprisingly warm beneath the roaring burners overhead, a hat will nonetheless come in handy, as will comfortable walking shoes and a jacket.  Romantic, companionable and a delight for the senses, tours conclude with a traditional al fresco breakfast with bubbly.

Most of their flights take place over Auckland's North West and or the upper reaches of the Waitemata Harbour. Hotel/Motel pickups and returns from within the Auckland area are available by prior arrangement.

- Hawke’s Bay sunrise flights depart from the western outskirts of   Hastings, in a group of six passengers plus the pilot.
- Wairarapa flights leave from Carterton where you will fly in a   group of approx 10 passengers plus the pilot.

Christchurch:

Fly from the centre of the city in one of their 6 balloons on any day of the year, weather permitting.
